The Blue Heaven Basketball Museum is an international shrine that preserves the legacy of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, one of collegiate athletics’ most successful programs, and showcases the rich history and great tradition that has entertained so many.

The Museum will take you on a trip down memory lane. From 1911 to present day, Carolina Basketball history is chronicled by authentic memorabilia from UNC’s great teams, players and coaches. Historic photographs, ‘one of a kind’ collector’s items, and mementos from 85-plus years of Tar Heels hoops form a lasting tribute to the ‘Boys in Blue.’

Items such as jerseys, shoes, basketballs, trophies, nets, rings and other exclusive mementos are on revolving exhibit from players, teams, places and events like Michael Jordan...Phil Ford...Billy Cunningham...Woollen Gym...Walter Davis... Coaches Dean Smith & Bill Guthridge...the undefeated 1957 team’s National Championship team...Mike O’Koren...Kenny Smith...Larry Miller...Charlie Scott... In addition to the largest collection of Carolina Basketball memorabilia of its kind, a library of books and periodicals are available, and highlight videos can be viewed on screens throughout the Museum.
